How can I help?
Volunteers are always welcome. We have positions for Den Leaders, Committee seats, Popcorn Kernel, and many more. Talk to one of our current leaders at the next meeting or contact us here.
What is a Pack?
A Pack is all the leaders and scouts ranging from Kindergarten up through 5th grade.
What is a Den?
A den is a small unit broken up by grade where your child will participate in advancement and learning activities.
What Den is my child in?
Dens are broken up by grade:
- Kindergarten – Lions
- First Grade – Tigers
- Second Grade – Wolves
- Third Grade – Bears
- Fourth Grade – Webelos
- Fifth Grade – Arrow of Light

What is Scoutbook?
Scoutbook is the tool that will guide you through the Scouting experience.
Where can I find help with Scoutbook?
Scoutbook offers a knowledge base for answers to commonly asked Scoutbook questions, Scoutbook how-tos, and more! We also have plenty of members who are ready and willing to help. Ask around at the next meeting and someone will point you in the right direction.
How much are dues?
Pack Dues – $125
National Dues – $90
How do I pay Pack dues?
Pack dues can be paid via Venmo to @SSI-Pack227. Dues for 2024/25 are $125 and are due at the first meeting.
How do I know if my child is registered?

How do I pay National Dues?
Online through scouting.org.
How do I sign up with my Amerigroup Number?
To use your Amerigroup number and take advantage of the Georgia State discount for Scouting, you must signup in person and provide your Amerigroup number on the form.
Does my child need a uniform shirt?
- Lions – only need a Lions T-shirt
- Tigers, Wolves and Bears – Blue uniform shirt
- Webelos and Arrow of Light – Tan uniform shirt
